“When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.” 1 Corinthians 13:11
In this episode we think through what it means to give up childish ways and be mature in the faith. This may seem obvious to many, but acting like a full grown adult is not something that we, as a culture, value. In many ways, we extend our children’s immaturity far past an age that previous generations would have ever dreamed to do. And in many ways, we excuse immaturity in ourselves simply because it is something that is very easy to do.
Today we want to discuss how not to give ourselves a free pass to perpetual emotional infancy. What would change in our spiritual lives if we intentionally desired to honor God with our growth?
