Gay Grammys, Murder Pills, – Jive Spurgey – 2/1/2014

*Photo by Matt Sayles/Invision/API wonder if the founding fathers of the United States of America would have ever imagined the day when the culture would celebrate the redefinition of marriage with such raucous applause as was thundered from this year’s Grammy Awards Show? Would they have imagined the Christian church so culturally disengaged and comfortably silent? We can only guess; but I’m resolved to think they would have been horrified to imagine such a state of affairs. I’m quite sure they would pull most of the Christians of the last generations by their ears into a quite room to give a swift and tasteful verbal beating followed by a lesson in responsibility and courage- all seasoned with salt and the erudite manner and public dignity expected of a person of high moral fiber, of course.Listen-in to the newest episode of Apologia Radio where we rap about Gay Grammys, Murder Pills, growing in Christ, and we introduce a new character:Jive Spurgey. We were wondering what Charles Spurgeon would sound like if his sermons were translated into the ‘jive’ dialect.
